Bu yarışma, Yüksek Lisans ya da Doktora tezini Türkiye’deki bir üniversitede bu konferansın konularıyla örtüşen alanlarda gerçekleştirmiş bütün öğrencilere/araştırmacılara açıktır.
Yarışmaya katılabilmek için tezin 1 Nisan 2022 - 1 Nisan 2024 tarihleri arasında başarıyla savunulmuş (ve/veya komite tarafından kabul edilmiş) olması ve tez danışmanı tarafından 5 Mayıs 2024 tarihine kadar "Tez Yarışması Aday Öneri Formu" kullanılarak aday gösterilmesi gerekmektedir.
Tez erişime açıksa, ilgili aday öneri formunda tezin pdf formatının forma yüklenmesi ya da herkese açık bir erişim linkinin formda verilmesi gerekmektedir. Aksi durumda, tezin gizlilik durumu açıklanmalıdır.
Tezin yarışma için uygunluğu Düzenleme Komitesi tarafından değerlendirilecek ve sonuç bildirilecektir. Yarışmacılar en fazla 2 yansı ile 5 dakika boyunca tezlerini BAŞARIM 2024 konferansında jüri üyelerine sunacaktır. Yansılar ve sunum için dil Türkçe ya da İngilizce’dir. En başarılı 3 yarışmacıya konferansın son günü ödülleri takdim edilecektir.
Yarışmaya katılmak isteyen öğrencilerin / araştırmacıların BAŞARIM 2024 konferansına kayıt yaptırması gerekmektedir.
Katılımcılar ve sunumlar aşağıdaki kriterlere göre değerlendirilecektir.
Anlatım ve İçerik
- Katılımcı, tez konusunun geçmişini ve tezinin önemini, uzman olmayan bir kitle için, ilgili terminolojiyi açıklayarak ve jargondan kaçınarak anlatabildi mi?
- Katılımcı, ele alınan sorunu çözmek için HPC'nin ne kadar önemli olduğunu veya geliştirilen çözümün HPC'ye nasıl katkıda bulunduğunu açıkça anlattı mı?
- Sunum, bu tezin teorik/pratik etkisini ve olası sonuçları açıkça belirtti mi?
- Sunum zaman sınırı içinde, açık ve net miydi?
Etkileşim ve İletişim
- Sunum, izleyicinin daha fazlasını öğrenmek istemesini sağladı mı?
- Katılımcı, araştırması için duyduğu heyecanı izleyiciye aktarabildi mi?
- Hazırlanan yansılar sunumun kalitesini artırdı mı?
- Katılımcı tezi hakkında akıcı bir şekilde mi konuştu?

This competition is open to all students/researchers who have completed their Master's or Doctorate thesis at a university in Turkey in the fields of this conference.
The thesis should be successfully defended (and/or accepted by the committee) between April 1, 2022, and April 1, 2024, in order to be considered for the competition. The thesis supervisor should nominate/offer the participant by filling out the "Thesis Competition Candidate Form" by May 5, 2024.
The thesis title, submission date, university and institute information, thesis summary, name of the participant, and the thesis supervisor(s) should be sent via e-mail. If the thesis is open access, it should be attached to an e-mail in PDF format, or a link should be included in the e-mail. Otherwise, the thesis's confidentiality status should be indicated in the e-mail.
The organizing committee will assess the thesis's suitability for the competition, and the results will be announced. At the conference, competitors will have 5 minutes with a maximum of 2 slides to present their theses to the jury members. The language of the presentation might be Turkish or English. On the conference's final day, awards will be given to the three most successful contestants.
Students / Researchers who would like to participate in the competition should register for the BASARIM 2024 conference.
Each participant and presentation will be assessed on the following criteria.
Comprehension and Content
- Did the participant provide the background and significance of the thesis while explaining terminology and avoiding jargon for a non-specialist audience?
- Did the participant clearly describe how HPC was crucial to solving the problem addressed or how he contributed to HPC?
- Did the presentation state the impact of the thesis with potential outcomes?
- Was the presentation within the time limit, clear and concise?
Engagement and Communication
- Did the presentation make the audience want to know more?
- Did the participant convey enthusiasm for their research?
- Did the slides enhance the quality of the presentation?
- Was the participant fluent while talking about the thesis?
