BAŞARIM 2024 konferansı kapsamında planlan çalışma grubu toplantı konuları, öneriler doğrultusunda, aşağıdaki gibidir. Ayrıntılı bilgilere ulaşmak için ilgili çalışma grubuna tıklayabilirsiniz.

NOT: Konferansın taslak programı belirlendiğinde ilgili çalışma grubu oturumlarının gün ve saatleri hakkında bilgi verilecektir.
Çalışma Grubu Toplantıları
BAŞARIM 2024’de benzer alanlarda çalışan araştırmacılar ve uygulayıcıların Yüksek Başarımlı Hesaplama'da (YBH/HPC) karşılaştıkları zorlukları ve üretilen çözümleri tartışmaları için “Çalışma Grubu Toplantıları” düzenlenecektir. Çalışma grubu toplantılarının temel amacı; araştırmacıları ve uygulayıcıları, deneyimlerini ve perspektiflerini paylaşmak amacıyla bir araya getirmektir. Belirli özel bir araştırma alanına yönelik Çalışma Grubu Toplantısı düzenlemek için iki tür öneri formu oluşturulabilirsiniz:
1. Belirli bir alanda araştırmalara ve endüstriyel iş birliklerine katılımcıları dahil eden tartışma oturumları.
Öneriniz kabul edilirse, kısa sunumlarla başlayan bir program ve devamında bir tartışma oturumu/paneli düzenleyebileceksiniz. Kısa sunumlar konferans bildirilerine dahil edilmeyecektir.
2. YBH/HPC ve uygulamalarına ilişkin eğitim oturumları.
“Çalışma Grubu Toplantıları” 2-4 saat sürecek olup (bir veya iki oturum) çevrim içi (ve/veya fiziksel) gerçekleştirilecektir.
Akademi ve endüstriden “Çalışma Grubu Toplantısı” önerilerinizi bekliyoruz.
Gönderi Formatı: Çalışma grubu öneri formu, en az 200 kelimelik bir özet ile başlayan ve özetten hemen sonra ayrıntılı açıklamayı içeren ve 1-2 sayfadan oluşan tek bir PDF dosyası şeklinde gönderilmelidir.
- Çalışma grubunun türü (tartışma veya eğitim oturumu),
- Çalışma grubunun başlığı,
- Çalışma grubunun dili (Türkçe/İngilizce/Karma),
- 200'den fazla kelimeden oluşan bir özet,
- Üç anahtar kelime.
- Anahtar kelime örnekleri: YBH/HPC eğitimi, hesaplamalı akışkanlar dinamiği, hesaplamalı fizik, hesaplamalı kimya, hesaplamalı biyoloji, kuantum hesaplama, ölçeklenebilir makine öğrenimi, yapay zekâ ve veri bilimi, blok zinciri teknolojileri, yeşil YBH/HPC, YBH/HPC kaynak yönetimi, yüksek performanslı şifreleme.
- Çalışma grubunun aşağıdaki hususları netleştiren ayrıntılı açıklaması:
- Çalışma grubunun yapısı nedir?
- Önerilen konu neden YBH/HPC’ye ilişkin bir sorunu ifade eder?
- Önerilen çalışma grubu konusunun günümüzde neden tartışılması gerekiyor?
- Çalışma grubunun araştırmacılar ve endüstri arasında iş birliklerini yönlendirme açısından potansiyeli nedir?
- Çalışma grubunun katılımcıları kimlerden oluşabilir? (En az 3-4 katılımcının yer aldığı potansiyel katılımcıların kısa bir listesi)
Çalışma grubu öneri formunun gönderilmesi: Çalışma grubu önerilerinizi 11 Mart 2024 tarihine kadar "Çalışma Grubu Önerisi Başvuru Formu" ile iletilebilirsiniz. Öneri formları uzmanlardan oluşan bir komite tarafından incelenecektir. Örtüşen başvuruların sayısı ve niteliğine bağlı olarak, birden fazla grup tarafından ortaklaşa tek bir çalışma grubu düzenlenmesi önerebilir.
Çalışma grubu önerisi kabul edilen araştırmacıların BAŞARIM 2024 konferansına kayıt yaptırması gerekmektedir.

Focus Group Meetups
Focus group meetups in BAŞARIM 2024 will be a chance for the practitioners and researchers working in the same subfield to discuss their HPC challenges and solutions. The main goal of a meetup is to gather researchers and practitioners to disseminate their experiences, perspectives. We expect two types of meetup proposals:

Discussion sessions that engage the participants in further research and industrial collaborations in a specific field. If your proposal is accepted, you will organize a program starting with short presentations (which will not be included in the conference proceedings) and a discussion session/panel.

Tutorial sessions on HPC and its applications.
Each focus group meetup will be a 2–4-hour (one or two sessions). We are expecting focus group proposals from academia and industry.
Submission Format: The proposal must be a single, one to two-page PDF file starting with an abstract of no more than 200 words following a detailed description. It must contain

Who is the expected audience? (along with a brief list of potential attendees, having 3-4 entities).

Where to Submit: Focus group proposals will be submitted by 11 March 2024 via "Focus Group Meetups Proposal Form", and they will be reviewed by a committee of experts. Based on the number and the quality of overlapping submissions, we may suggest a single focus group jointly organized by multiple groups.
The researchers whose focus group meetup proposals are accepted should register for the BASARIM 2024 conference.
