This study employs direct numerical simulation (DNS) to investigate turbulent boundary layers (TBLs) under varying pressure gradients, which requires high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities. Our research utilises an in-house turbulent boundary layer direct numerical simulation (TBLDNS) code, and in this study, we have assessed the performance of our code in two distinct HPC architectures. Our results reveal that optimised HPC environments yield substantially better performance compared to unoptimised ones. Furthermore, our results show that the TBLDNS code can scale across various HPCs, architectures, and environments. The results obtained from this study will be utilised in turbulent flow analysis, contributing to our understanding of pressure gradient TBLs.
