Genel Bilgi: Yüksek Başarımlı Hesaplama sistemlerinde işlemci güçleri ve sayıları arttıkça, iletişim katmanının toplam performansa etkisi kritik hale gelmektedir. Geleneksel iki taraflı (Send/Recv) modelin getirdiği senkronizasyon ve protokol yükleri, modern düşük gecikmeli ağ donanımlarının potansiyelini kısıtlayabilmektedir. Bu sunumda; MPI standardının sunduğu tek taraflı iletişim modeline giriş yapılarak, bu modelin temelini oluşturan bellek pencereleri, doğrudan erişim ve senkronizasyon mekanizmaları incelenecektir.
