DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Raymond Norris (MATHWORKS)\n\n \n\nWe are pleased t
o announce an online hands-on workshop on scaling MATLAB® workloads on th
e TRUBA HPC cluster. The workshop will be delivered by Raymond Norris (Mat
hWorks) on 12 May 2026. The event is free of charge and open to all intere
sted participants.\nTRUBA and MathWorks have recently signed an agreement
enabling MATLAB to be used on the TRUBA infrastructure for academic resear
ch. Under this agreement\, all researchers with a TRUBA account can run MA
TLAB workloads on TRUBA.\nThis workshop is organized as part of this colla
boration and aims to introduce users to practical ways for running and sca
ling MATLAB workloads on the TRUBA HPC cluster.\nThe session will include
hands-on exercises\, allowing participants to follow live demonstrations a
nd gain practical experience using MATLAB on TRUBA.\nWhether you are new t
o running MATLAB on HPC systems or would like to learn how to use TRUBA mo
re efficiently\, you are welcome to join.\nDuring the workshop\, participa
nts will learn how to:\n\nConnect MATLAB from their local machine to the T
RUBA HPC cluster\nSubmit\, monitor\, and manage MATLAB jobs on TRUBA\nUse
MATLAB parallel computing features efficiently on CPU and GPU resources\nS
cale MATLAB workloads from local systems to HPC resources\n\n \nA key foc
us of the workshop will be running MATLAB on TRUBA directly from your loca
l machine\, enabling you to continue using the familiar MATLAB desktop int
erface while leveraging TRUBA’s computational power.\nRegistration is re
quired to attend the event. Please complete the registration form by 10 M
ay 2026.\nZoom connection details will be shared with registered participa
nts via email before the event. Please also check your spam/junk folder.
\nPlease note that no certificate of participation will be issued for this
event.\nIntroductory Video\nYou can watch a short introduction to the wor
kshop: Running MATLAB on TRUBA. This video provides a brief overview of ru
nning MATLAB workloads on the TRUBA HPC cluster.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nTo par
ticipate in the hands-on exercises from your own machine\, you must have M
ATLAB installed with the Parallel Computing Toolbox\, using one of the fol
 lowing versions:\n\nR2024a\nR2024b\nR2025a\nR2025b\n\n\n\nSupport after th
 e workshop\nIf you experience MATLAB\, toolbox\, or license-related issues
 \, please contact:matlab.support@figes.com.tr\nFor TRUBA account\, access\
 , Slurm\, reservation\, or cluster usage questions\, please contact:trubad
